East To South is my conception fusing Jazz, Flamenco and Classical music.

We play, for example, a rendition of John Coltrane's Olé, Flamenco mastery from one of Europe's great flamenco guitarists, Tim Schicore, and Latin Classical Composition from Villa-Lobos, Rodrigo and original compositions. Classic pieces written for solo guitar like Rodrigo's Zapateado and Villa-Lobos's Etude, played by solo clarinet – absolutely beautiful arrangements, world class soloing and ensemble playing... East to South also aspires to capture the Gipsy spirit of those from Eastern Europe who brought their music to Spain and Southern France; who had a large part to play in the creation of Flamenco.
